A mini brass hinged “Chess Table" candle reflector. This brass candle reflector, popular during the Victorian era has a hinged tabletop, decorated with a chess board design, is in good working order and vintage condition, it is a lovely and unique item to accompany your candlesticks and bookshelf. This could also be cute in a kids room as decor “Alice and wonderland” themed.
Some of the red and black paint is wearing off along with some tarnishing. It lovely, true antique condition. There are some age-related marks to the patina, and some of the paint is chipped, but this only adds to its true vintage aesthetic. Keep in mind the table piece does flatten but does not “lock” into place.
